Just sharing an email that we all got this morning. The Teacher-Substitute Employee Automated System (T-SEAS) is the on-line system to report absences and confirm a substitute for teachers across our entire state.
Good Morning everyone,
Just wanted to share that T-SEAS WebCenter system does not recognize February 29. This has been a problem every 4 years and it has not been fixed. If you need to input an absence for February 29, the absence has to be called in through the T-SEAS telephone system. If the teacher who is absent cannot call it in , T-SEAS help desk will be happy to do it for you.

I almost want to be absent on that Wednesday just because someone obviously had four years to fix this and hasn’t gotten around to it! Makes me feel better about those Payroll Certifications that I’m still collecting from two of my sites – due January 31st.
