Today at 3:30-ish, an announcement broadcast over the intercom that “traffic was bad headed town-bound” just as a “heads-up.”
A staff member had obviously hit the traffic jam and called back to let the rest of the staff know what to expect. I was headed out soon enough and figured I just have to deal with whatever was out there.
As I walked past the library circulation desk, the librarian had a couple of counter computers loaded to the traffic cams so we could see popular routes and how backed up things were.
People just care at Kalei’opu’u and demonstrate that compassion on a daily basis.
