My goal is to save money and eat in more this year. So I started by looking for some easy recipes (since I’m no cook) and spent a whopping $256.39 at my local grocery store to get started.

If figure that this will be my “baseline” and as I get better, I’ll learn what are good prices, if it’s better to purchase at warehouse prices (Costco or Sam’s Club), and also, build our pantry so things like buying yellow dry mustard for $9.19 will happen only once in a great while.
